Álfadans II

When: 18:00 Friday October 24th until 16:00 Sunday October 26th 2008.
Where: Hlíðskógar, 641 Húsavík, Iceland.

The nights draw in, and across the land gentles prepare for the long nights ahead when they will work on the arts of peace. Seeking the inspiration and knowledge of the elves, masters of all of the arts and sciences, the people tempt them from Elf-land with dancing and music.

The Shire of Klakavirki invites you to join us at Álfadans II, an A&S-focussed event to be held on October 24th-26th at a farm not far from the waterfalls of Goðafoss and Aldeyjarfoss. We promise you A&S classes, tournaments and a fine feast to please our elven muses. In particular, we will be holding a 'silly hat competition', and encourage all attendees to wear their most impressive headgear.

Event fee: 4,500 Ikr. Children under 16 not allowed.

Accomodation: Crash space is free on site, and we will try to provide sleeping bags etc. for overseas visitors.

A note on weapons: Iceland has strict laws regarding weapons and any gentles intending to bring weapons should contact the steward in advance so that she can arrange for a temporary weapons permit.
