Welcome!
Welcome to the website of SCA Shire of Klakavirki. We are the Icelandic chapter of the Society for
Creative Anachronism, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to studying and recreating mediaeval
society between 600AD and 1600AD. The group is based in Akureyri, northern Iceland and is part of
the Crown Principality of Insulae Draconis within
the Kingdom of Drachenwald
What do we do?
Members take part in many different activities, from arts and crafts such as music, needlework and cookery
to period combat styles, both heavily armoured and renaissance fencing. We also have the occasional mediaeval
feast, cooked by members of the Shire.

On March 12th - 14th 2010 we will be hosting Trollhunt IV, a weekend of Combat, A&S, games and competitions
rounded off with a feast in the evening. More information...
